Steinmann P&O participated in the Healthy U Health Expo to demonstrate various pediatric braces and prosthetics that are available.

JUNE 2009
Steinmann P&O-The Amputee Center launches the Amputee Support Group. Amputees and their caregivers can find support, discuss questions and concerns, learn about new techniques in prosthetic care, and consult with the prosthetist.

The group meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 3:00 – 5:00 pm.
Everyone is welcome!

APRIL 2009
Steinmann P&O donated a complete set of training weights
to the Doña Ana Village Boxing Club.
The boxing club provides boys and girls with adult mentors, training and guidance. Many thanks to the volunteers who take time to train up our youth, and to Doña Ana County for supporting programs like this!

MARCH 6, 2009 “Introduction to DAFO Bracing Workshop“
Steinmann P&O sponsored a free seminar on Dynamic Ankle-Foot Orthotics (DAFO) for medical professionals who work primarily with children that provided 6 Hours of Continuing Education Units (CEU) and was attended by 20 area physical and occupational therapists, assistants and students.Steinmann Prosthetics and Orthotics wishes to thank the community educators from Cascade Dafo, Inc. , Mountain View Regional Medical Center and the NM Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) for their assistance in providing this workshop to our community.
