Robert Steinmann, CPO, BOCPO, is a nationally recognized prosthetist and orthotist with decades of experience in advancing patient care. As the founder of Steinmann Prosthetics & Orthotics, Robert is dedicated to improving mobility, independence, and quality of life for patients across New Mexico and the Southwest.
Known for his hands-on approach and compassionate care, Robert specializes in fitting custom prosthetic and orthotic solutions for patients of all ages and lifestyles. He combines technical excellence with personal connection, ensuring every patient feels heard, respected, and supported.

Kelsey Smith, CPO
Kelsey Smith, CPO, is a Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist dedicated to restoring mobility and delivering personalized care across New Mexico. A proud member of the Steinmann Prosthetics & Orthotics team, Kelsey blends clinical expertise, innovative problem-solving, and compassionate support for patients of all ages.
Trained through Baylor College of Medicine, Kelsey brings specialized experience in pediatric, adult, and geriatric care — from custom prosthetic limbs to orthopedic braces and cranial helmets. She believes in truly listening to each patient to create functional, comfortable, and individualized solutions.
